EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION POLICY

  • 1. The student’s progress is communicated to parents periodically by means of the Progress Record, which also includes a report on conduct and attendance.
  • 2.  Promotion to the higher class will be determined on the basis of the grades obtained in assessments held during the year. The student’s achievement in co-curricular activities too, is taken into consideration.
  • 3. Results declared at the end of the year stand final in all cases. Decision of the Principal in all matters of promotion will be final and binding.
  • 4. Senous misconduct or malpractice in an examination disqualifies a student forthe whole examination.
  • 5.  Students will not be allowed to take exams incase of any outstanding fees.
  • 6.  No child who is sick or medically unfit will be allowed to take exam or classtest. However student’s attendance in term end examination including practical a must
  • 7.  Pupils who are absent for the Terminal Examination for any reason other than sickness justified by Doctor’s Certificate will not be considered for consolidated result and rank.
  • 8.  In case a pupil is absent in a subject or an examination he/she will not be re-examined under any circumstances. In such case promotion of the deserving pupil will be decided on the strength of the examinations they have appeared for and the year’s work.
  • 9.  Complying with CBSE norms, from Nursery to Std X only grades shall beprovided in the result. Parents are requested not to ask for marks statement.
  • 10.  Minimum attendance of 75% of all working days in an assessment/term isessentially required to qualify for that assessment/term.
