Information for Parents

Important guidelines for parents to support a safe, disciplined and effective learning environment.

1. Parent Cooperation
The school expects parents to co-operate with the school for the proper development of the child.
2. Reading Programme
A compulsory reading programme has been introduced for Classes I–X to develop spoken and written English skills.
3. Monitoring Student Work
Parents must regularly check homework and the school diary. All tests, report cards and circulars must be signed by the parent/guardian.
4. Communication with School
For any concern, parents/guardians may meet the Principal or teachers on the days/times mentioned by the school, or by prior appointment.
5. Personal Belongings
The school is not responsible for loss or damage of personal articles. Parents should avoid sending expensive items with the child.
6. Contact Information Updates
Any change of address or phone number must be immediately informed to the school office and noted in the diary.
7. School Diary
Fill the first two pages of the diary for records. The child’s photo should remain intact in the diary throughout the session.
8. Entry & Exit Rules
Parents should not enter classrooms during teaching hours. Only authorised persons (with I-Card) should pick up children; inform class teacher in writing of any change.
9. Private Tuitions
Parents are discouraged from engaging school teachers as private tutors. Encourage self-study and a distraction-free study environment at home.
10. Identity Card Requirement
Parents/guardians/caretakers must carry their identity cards when visiting the school; entry will not be permitted without I-Card.
11. School Property
If a student damages school property, the parents/guardians will be required to make good the loss.
12. Teacher & School Respect
Avoid criticising teachers in the presence of your child. For grievances, meet the Principal so issues can be resolved respectfully.
13. Health & Safety
Inform the school of any congenital disorder, allergy, physical handicap or psychological/emotional issue so the school can take appropriate care.
14. Attendance & Leave
Regular attendance is important. Avoid requesting half-days or frequent leaves. No re-examination will be conducted for missed assessments.
15. Conduct & Discipline
Parents should maintain proper attire and decorum on campus and resolve differences with staff/management peacefully. Misconduct may invite action from the school.
16. Tiffin Policy
Send nutritious, hygienic tiffin from home. Tiffin will not be accepted at the gate or reception in view of safety and security.
17. Health & Hygiene
Ensure your child maintains personal hygiene, gets adequate sleep (≈8 hours), eats a balanced diet and avoids junk food or street snacks.
